Oregon’s beauty and bounty are things to be celebrated and shared!

Fresh, local food can seem out of reach for many of our neighbors, so Hub 541 is dedicated to making local food more accessible for those who need it most! We are grateful to Farmers Market Fund and their ongoing support of Double Up Food Bucks where SNAP shoppers can receive up to $20 match in free fruits, veggies, or edible plant starts. In addition to Double Up, Hub 541 is proud to support the following food access and education programs at six small farmers markets throughout Lane County in 2026.

Cluck Bucks

Cluck Bucks seeks to make local protein options more affordable for those facing food insecurity. Any adult who is a member of a household with income less than 80% of the area median can sign up. Income verification is not required.

Market to Pantry: Buy Back Program

Markets partner with local food pantries to purchase still fresh, local food from market vendors to help stock the pantries with high quality produce. This not only increases food access for those visiting the pantry, but serves as a critical support to small farmers who otherwise might struggle to make a living at smaller markets, particularly those located in Low Income/ Low Access and remote rural areas
